I could be wrong here, but I'm guessing we've all had to change our habits or give something up because of current gas prices, which are running as high as $3.83 for the "cheap" stuff here in LA, according to www.gasbuddy.com. Me? So far, I've traded in my usual stroll through Starbucks for a pit stop at 7-11. I may not get chocolate and whipped cream in my coffee, but a good cup of joe and a couple of breakfast bars are less than half the price of a grande mocha and a piece of cinnamon coffee cake. Of course, I'm also trading a room full of college girls for one that's full of construction workers--but harsh times require harsh measures.
I'm sure I'll be tightening my belt much more in the months to come, but tell me: How have you felt the squeeze, and what have you done to adapt?
