August '08 is on the stands

If you’re actually going so far as to read the staffer blogs here on chevyhiperformance.com, the chances are pretty good that you actually subscribe to the mag—and we appreciate that. But just in case you pick your monthly fix up on the newsstand, the latest version, our August issue, just hit the stands. We think we’ve packed it with plenty of good stuff, including an E85 carb conversion and a 9-inch rearend build, but I’m guessing the Three-Way Mousefest will generate the most debate. We assembled three complete small-blocks, including a potent-but-inexpensive 327, a 383 with almost 500 hp along with a Kansas-flat torque band, and my personal favorite, a 355 with something of a bad attitude. So if you don’t have the new issue yet, go get it. And if you’ve checked it out already, get to typin’ and let us know which small-block floated your boat. You’re free to throw in your two cents here (I’m dying to know what you thought of the 355—gone to far, or not far enough?), but don’t forget to shoot us an email at chevyhi@sourceinterlink.com. Who knows? You might make Letter of the Month and score some swag.
