Fuel prices and the EPA are cracking down

Is the musclecar on its way out?


At this point, we may start seeing a trend among our modern-day musclecars coming from The General in Detroit. With the EPA cracking down and because of new U.S. fuel and emissions rules, our newer musclecars may be our last.
President George W. Bush has recently signed into law legislation that will bring more fuel-efficient vehicles into auto showrooms and require wider use of ethanol. The prediction may be premature, but even if performance cars of the future are powered by smaller engines, they'll never die!
