The only thing I ever learned from German class is something I've been using quite often...


If there was anything that my German class taught me, it was but one simple phrase which I seem to be using a lot lately. “Langsam aber sicher”, which means: Slowly but surely, when translated into English. That’s exactly how I feel and what I keep telling myself when concerning the El Camino. Although this may be a slow pace; it’s a pace nonetheless. Right?

The task at hand is slow and arduous. But, I assure you we will make it through. Over the Fourth of July weekend, I installed the motor mounts and bolted up the frame mounts—all, from Ground Up. The big-block just needs to be mated up to the transmission but ill need a flexplate first. Looks like I’ve got some more ordering to do…
