Its on pace to be one of the greatest super-cars ever…
Im really jealous. Why do the Germans get to hog all of the glory? Recently, the buzz about the new Corvette ZR-1 has been circling the internet. Not only is the vehicle shrouded in engineering and performance mystery but so was it’s elusive track time at the Nurburgring race track in Germany. To familiarize you, “The-Ring” as it’s called, is 13-miles of death-proving asphalt. It winds and snakes through hills, hairpins, dips, drops and chicanes. Basically, it’s where new performance vehicles put-up or shut-up—manufacturers hang it all out on the line here.
More recently though, our famed ZR-1 has been at “The-Ring”. That’s right, I said, “has”—as in past-tense. Apparently automotive internet buzz sites are reporting that GM engineers/test drivers have set a record 7:26.4 time at the track. If this is true, the ZR-1 is on pace to becoming one of the fastest full-production cars available. In my opinion, that’s awesome and great news for GM alumni like me. I just can’t wait to see the in-car video. Now, where do I get 100K from?
