Sit and Wait

Seriously, is there someone trying to prevent me from working on the car...?

Well, I had this great idea for the weekend and I had it all planned out. You know the ones I am talking about? Right? The idea of working on your project car—only to see it sidelined by a last minute family function. Don’t get me wrong here folks, I love my family but it’s hard to stay gracious and sit still at the dinner table knowing your project vehicle sits outside—waiting for a wrench or two to be thrown its way. I didn’t have a choice in the matter so working on the car will have to wait until next week (sigh).

If its not one thing, it’s the other. Between the rain, the heat and now this past family function—I’ll never get this thing going. Don’t fret though; the sun is resting in the sky longer each day. If anything, it will just give me more light to play with after I get home from work. I will really have to buckle down and start tossing around parts after I have technically “clocked-out”. Its cool though, it will all be worth it in the long-run.
