Much like drifting, the “Donk” scene is building momentum. It used to be that every once and a while you might see one parked in front of a house or cruising down the street. However, now, I have been seeing them pop up at car shows and rolling down the freeway almost daily. Although this type of car won’t ever hit the pages of our magazine it is newsworthy nonetheless. Sure, alright, I admit it. If I had loads of money, I too would have a donked out Monte Carlo. I could see myself hitting the streets of Sunset just to get a reaction out of people. I think the cars are cool and its kind of reassuring to see that people are just having fun with their cars. It may not be your cup of tea but maybe they don’t necessarily like what your into either.
