There is something about a shop dog that's just so textbook. Unlike the junkyard dogs that guard the lot, a shop dog is a bit different. Instead of keeping people away, a shop dogs got to be calm and cool; greeting patrons with a wag of the tail instead of a bark from the mouth. Over the years, dogs have been proven to lower stress levels and increase moral. Add in the confines of a busy shop you have the perfect outlet for success. Take for example, Jesel. Hes a four-year old pure bred pit-bull. Have no fear though. As mean as he looks, Jesel spends about ninety-percent of his time sleeping, the other ten-percent is left to greeting customers by the door as they come and go. He’ll even follow you around the shop, trying to help (he thinks he’s human), and chasing your feet with his abnormally large head. Throw his “Kong-Toy” around and he’ll chase it until the world ended—smashing into tool boxes and knocking over anything else that might lye in his way. He’ll chase you around the shop and run laps around machinery—slipping and sliding over the smooth shop floor. If anything, its great comic relief. Jesel, is a great way to relieve some stress after a long day at the shop. Every shop should make an effort to have some sort of outlet. It’s better in the long run, even if its got four legs and a tail like Jesel.
