It’s tough sometimes, but in this business we are always running around. Whether it’s hoping on planes for car shows, running to dyno sessions, getting to a secluded photo shoot—we always seem to be on the move. In most cases, it’s in our daily drivers. For instance, Henry D has really racked up the miles this week on his cars. He’s been to the office, off to photo shoots, dropped off parts, made trips to our magazine tech center and today is dynoing a supercharged motor for an upcoming issue some seventy miles away. And, somewhere in all that mess, he’s got to run this magazine. My heart goes out to the guy, who will be jumping on a plane early next week to attend an NHRA licensing school. Honestly, I don’t know how he does it. I would have cracked already and succumbed to the pressure—signing myself into a mental institution for too much driving.
