What started as a test and tune session for us, turned out to be an incredible weekend for our team.

Both cars ran 275 Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials.
Crew Chief Mike Saiki getting things ready for another pass.

Long story short, we qualified number one with a 8.18 at 175 mph run on Saturday and eventually made it to the final round. In the lane next to us, was one of our local radial competitors, Al Jimenez with his ProCharger powered second-gen Camaro.

Both Artis Houston and Al shot out from the dig with killer short-times and it looked like we were finally going to get a good run from the hit. Unfortunately, around 200 feet or so into the pass, we ended up overpowering the track and had to abort the run.

All said and done, we had a valuable test session this past weekend and we're definitely getting things sorted out for the best. Stay tuned for more updates and congratulations to Al and his team for his 7.92 at 183 mph win.
