You grab your best buddies, hop in the car with your cooler and lawn chairs—hit the road. That’s the fun part—just getting there and seeing all the cars on the way that are going to the same exact show you are. That’s the benefit of building a car. It’s the “high” you get when you’ve finally got the thing dialed in and on the road. Just cruising. It’s what this hobby/lifestyle is all about. You hang your arm out the window and crack the vent windows to let in all that fresh air. No radio, just the sound the motor and the “whap” of the tires as they hit the breaks in the concrete of the freeway. Although the summer is almost over, and in some parts of the country, snow is fast approaching, there is always next year. Luckily though, we on the west coast get a lot more opportunities to enjoy our “cruises” a bit longer because of our Mediterranean weather system. As of now, im already looking forward to our next cruise. Who wants to roll?
