I landed in the city of glitz and glitter about five hours ago, that’s right, Vegas baby!

While I love the hitting the main strip, I’m here for a whole different reason. A couple of months ago I enrolled in the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School and unbelievably that day begins tomorrow. Chances are you’re familiar with the program, but if not, it’s two days of bliss with your choice of race car to learn in.

If you're wondering, I’m forgoing the Super Comp dragster and instead will be piloting the Super Gas Firebird that’s powered by a 720 horsepower ZZ572. The chassis weighs in at 2,300 pounds and with that power to weight ratio; it’s going to be a hoot! Yep, I’m definitely wide eyed and ready for it and with that, I’m off to get some rest. Of course I’ll disclose the full story in an upcoming issue, but until then, I’ll be sure to follow you up with how the first day went.
