Speedway Motors is honored to announce that it has received the 2008 Business of the Year Award from the Hot Rod Industry Alliance. The award was presented at the HRIA Industry Awards Reception on Nov. 5 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The prestigious HRIA Business of the Year Award is presented to a hot rod industry business that has demonstrated exceptional service, integrity and business ethics. The company must also have made a commendable contribution to or impact on the hot rod industry. The award recipient is selected based on votes cast by companies in the market.

Speedway Motors’ Founder and Owner, “Speedy” Bill Smith, accepted the award. “I’m extremely proud to receive this great honor,” Smith said. “This award belongs to everyone at Speedway Motors and is a reflection of the dedication our 200-plus employees have for serving our customers. Their hard work has helped Speedway Motors set the customer service standard for the hot rod and racing industries.”
