I don't know what it is, but the cold is here and i really love it. I know for myself and Henry D, we love the gloom, especially when it comes in the form of rain and sub 50 degree temperatures. I love throwing on a jacket and kicking on the heater in the car. heck, if it snowed, we would really be in heaven. We don't ever really get a "White Christmas" 'round here in the San Fernando Valley. However, our local mountains that envelope the valley are going to get dumped with snow. My friend from New York just recently called me. He's on his way back to L.A. on Friday. He said that he couldn't wait to take a trip up to the mountains for the day. I can't wait either. Too bad the Project '66 El Camino isn't running yet. I would surely love to take the truck up through the mountains...only to fill the back up with snow--just to say I could. Then, I would feel like a hero and dump it in my driveway. Maybe even make a nice pile in the street for all the local neighborhood kids to play with.
As you can see by the image, it's 40 degrees outside and raining. If only it dropped another 8 degrees making the total out to 32 degrees. Now that would be cool. Snow, without a doubt.
