No, that's not my El Camino, but it gives me hope to see one completed...
Coincidence or not, I was on my way back from Rubio's Autobody when I came upon this little gem being toted along with a U-HAUL truck. I was speeding along in the fast lane and I had to disengage my cruise control just to get a good shot of the Elco. A sigh of relief ran over me as I envisioned my El Camino complete and ready to run. All hope is not lost though...my car is in good hands.
Sometimes, it's hard to imagine my El Camino ever being done. However, my car is currently still at the paint shop. Like I had mentioned in an earlier blog, the doors, tailgate and hood have all had a coat of Primer. Whats left? Well, since the body work on the car is all about done and only five percent is left, the rest of the car should be ready for Primer. Then, the home stretch for a full body of Flat Black Paint all being completed at Rubio's Auto body in Sun Valley, California (818.252.0065).
After, we can get the cars suspension handled--literally. Then, a nice set of rims, tires and we can stuff in that meaty big-block of mine...make tracks!
