Our return to the dragstrip with the new Pettis Performance built 598ci bullet was a successful one!

Our fourth nitrous pass on the new combination netted us with a 8.197 at 173.52 mph, putting Artis Houston and his '71 Nova in the number four qualifying position. Unfortunately, the throttle bracket broke during the first round of Sunday's eliminations, but you can bet that'll never happen again.

Suffice to say, we're very pleased with the results and the new mill is already showing a lot of potential. As promised, here's a link to the in car video during the second round of qualifying - click here. And click here for the GoPro cam we used!

Our next outing will be the weekend of June 5th, where we're planning to run at the WCHRA event in Bakersfield, Ca.
