Every Build Takes Time

Only if everything could be installed in one day...

When building a car or intsalling new go-fast goodies, your mind set must change. Obviously, things and plans will change as your build progresses but you have to be mentally prepared for it. Take for example the story we have in progress as I write this blog. All new front bushings were supposed to be installed. However, when I arrived at the suspension shop to pick up the A-arms with the new bushings, four were missing from the arms. What I had once thought was only going to take me a day to complete is now taking me a bit longer, which is essentially pushing everything else further back.

There was no way to plan for the missing bushings. It just happened. No big deal. However, my idea of completeing the build in one day will have to be rethought. No worries though, we'll push on and get it done by Friday.
