pictured here is two examples of how differently NASCAR and F1 cars use spark plugs. At first, you'll notice the difference in size. The left spark plug is much larger, like what you would find in a traditional passenger car or truck. The right side is the spark plug from an actual F1 racing engine. Secondly, you will also notice the lack of an electrode on the tip of the plugs. The removal of the tip prevents potentially losing that electrode at high rpm, and subsequently going through the engine and destroying it.
