I'm not a huge fan of commercials. In fact, I regularly mute or turn down commercials when they come on the screen. To be honest, I hate commercials and avoid them at all costs to prevent a permanent brainwash.
The other day at the gym, I just happened to look up at the screen and saw a montage of rocket ships from the 1960's along with snippets of cylinder heads, push rods and aluminum blocks. The last seconds of the commercial show a White ZR1 Corvette drifting through a racetrack. Yeah, it's pretty cool. It turns out it was GM's newest commercial and although I couldn't hear it I knew it had to be good.
It's the first time I have ever felt compelled to search out and locate a commercial. So much so that I found the link on YouTube and have provided it here at the bottom.
It's great to see a commercial that actually elicits a great sense of pride, loyalty, emotion and power. In other words, way to go GM. This commercial is awesome and I would love to see more of them.
