There's nothing like hitting the open road with a convertible.

And that's just what our publisher Ed Zinke is planning to do with his '64 Chevelle. As of an hour ago, he's on route to caravan with the Street Rodder group, leaving SoCal and heading 2,000+ miles east to the NSRA show in Louisville, KY.

Here's his first entry and we'll be sure to post up as we continue to get updates.

"While the bulk of the Street Rodder Road Tour group we are traveling with to the Street Rod Nats started at California Car Covers in Chatsworth, we had a bit of a longer run this morning.

Starting in Corona, the Chevelle has already traveled 58 miles and we're approximately 20 miles outside of Barstow. Everything is humming a long and we made a quick pit stop to gas up before heading into the desert and Needles...Onward in style!"
