"Met up with the Road Tour in Barstow and headed East. Gas stop in Ludlow was big surprise as the changes to a 3.55 gear along with 700R4 and 26" BFGoodrich Super Sport radials improved gas mileage to nearly 15mpg. Not bad for 383ci small-block that's putting 362hp at the wheels.
Car is pleasure to drive and running 2,100 rpm at 75 mph.
The road is a callin' as we try to beat some heat running in the desert. On to Needles!"
