Here's the basics on what we used to power our Nova...

Without going into too much detail, we pulled the tired small-block and TH350 from the Nova. Once on an engine stand, we stripped it down and swapped out the old cylinder heads for new, higher flowing RHS aluminum pieces. We also added an all new camshaft, lifters, rockers, push rods and timing set from Comp.

For the transmission, we've added another gear by installing a completely new 200-4R (Stage III) overdrive from Gear Star. It's fully built and will be able to withstand repeated abuse on the street or track.

Stay tuned, we've got all the details coming in a future issue!
