Monster Transmission gets us moving in the right direction... While we normally don't showcase truck-specific tech in the magazine, we figured it would be the perfect place for our website. Considering a lot of the CHP loyalists out there drive and maintain their own pickups for daily driving or towing, it seemed taking on a truck build on the side would make sense. We've landed our hands on a '86 C10 roller with fresh paint and body. To start things off, we'll highlight some smaller tech blogs illustrating a 383ci stroker engine and 700R4 transmission install. We've already built the 700R4 transmission utilizing a complete heavy-duty rebuild kit from Monster in an upcoming issue and now its time to get the drivetrain in. Keep posted as we'll have more to come in future blogs of our truck.
