World’s Fastest Camaro Build to Stream Live Online May 16-18...
Classic Industries, worldwide leader in GM automotive restoration parts and accessories, is proud to announce its involvement with the 48 Hour Camaro project. Designed to be the world’s fastest Camaro build over just two days, audiences nationwide will have the chance to watch the entire process live online at www.48hourcamaro.com on May 16-18.
Beginning at 8:00 AM PST, the crew at 48 Hour Camaro will turn an ordinary 1967 Camaro into a serious Pro-Touring contender using products direct from Classic Industries. In just two short days, the crew will install a new engine, transmission, rear end, brakes, suspension, interior, steering, air conditioning and much more for a complete transformation.
“We’re thrilled to be involved in the 48 hour Camaro project, said Classic Industries GM, Mark Vogt. “This project will allow us to showcase how enthusiasts, even in a performance-oriented build, can use our catalog of Camaro restoration products to give their projects the finished look they deserve.”
Following the build, the 48 Hour Camaro team will produce a series of videos offering step-by-step instructions on each stage of the restoration allowing at-home automotive enthusiasts to replicate the whole build process in their own garage.
Tune in to www.48hourcamaro.com to watch the transformation live from 8:00 AM - 11:59 PM PST each day. During the off time, the feed will show a darkened shop to protect the integrity of this build and ensure that no work is being done.
Following the build, the 48 Hour Camaro will be driven to the Goodguys Nashville Nationals in Tennessee, where the Camaro will be put to the ultimate test at the autocross.
