It begins! Well, I am officially now a fan of autocrossing. I recently got to hang around some badass corner carving muscle cars at the Inaugural CHP Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia and man, I'm hooked

Immediately I enjoyed capturing these road demons tearing up the asphalt with my camera, but what really did it was when I took a white-knuckle ride in Detroit Speed's test car. As a drag racer that spends very little in his car at an event, it's refreshing to know autocrossers wheel their rides all day. Don't get me wrong, the adrenalin rush that comes from busting a wheelie in a drag car is second to none, but I imagine taking a corner at full blast is massively exciting too. My new project will have a 60/40 drag to autocross ratio, and to prove to my drag racers that I haven't totally sold out, I want to put nitrous on it.
