Ever wondered what sort of lifter is used in a 2,000 hp supercharged big-block? Over the break we had our 525 ci. Chevy's valvetrain upgraded, including the lifter valley and you'll soon be able to check out what it takes to put large diameter, bushed lifters into a high-performance engine. 

 Standard BBC's use a .842 diameter lifter, but when you want ultimate strength and stability, engine builders go with larger .904 versions. Read all about it in an upcoming issue of CHP.
